Fashion Throughout the 20th Century

Hello Year 1,

This is going to be your Project for Unit 2 and it's all about fashion. We are going to learn how people dressed in different decades (from 50s to 90s). Here you can find links to websites and videos that will help you find information about your decade. 

PORTFOLIO (one per person)

• typical look (male and female) - print it, label it and explain all the pieces of clothes they wear. Find a videoclip of the groups/singers that represents the typical look of your decade.
• typical hairstyle - explain (add photo)
• accessories/make-up (sunglasses, handbags, jewelry, scarves, make-up styles etc) - chose two/three, print it, label it and explain
• history of a piece of clothes - Chose one piece of clothes that is typical for your decade and find the following information:
• When was it used for the first time? Who invented it? Why was it invented? Who wore it originally?
