Strong Adjectives
Instead of using 'very' too much we can use 'extreme adjectives'.
We can also use adverbs to make adjectives stronger.
USE "very" + "extremely" + "really" with BASE ADJECTIVES
e.g.
It was very hot last summer.
You were extremely happy after you passed your test.
I was really hungry after the match.
USE "really" + "absolutely" with EXTREME ADJECTIVES
e.g. The movie was really fantastic.
It was absolutely delicious pizza.

VIDEO
Hi 1º ESO,
Remember that you have to send us a video telling us about yourself and your town. Here you have some tips to follow:
- use either a camera/camcorder or a mobile phone
- try NOT to read the script but instead practise a couple of times BEFORE filming to learn the script by heart
- be natural and smile
- there can be up to two students in one video, both of you have to talk about yourself and your town
- you can edit the video as you like
- send it to us by email (Gaudem email) or share it with us in Drive
- deadline: 25th of October
- have fun :)

Unit 1 test
Hello guys,
Please remember that we have our first test for Unit 1. It's on Thursday 20th and on Friday 21st October (this is only one test but divided into two parts).
To practise grammar you can go to the back of your book where there is grammar revision (p. 133-134). You can also go to the extra activities I uploaded on the blog.
To practise vocabulary and expressions use the vocabulary list I gave you (or find it on the blog).
The test will include all the materials we used in Unit 1, including Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing (and Grammar and Vocabulary).
Good luck!
